Goldpro New Materials selected for the list of national specialized and new “small giant” enterprises

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China announced the list of the second batch of specialized and sophisticated small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and Goldpro New Materials Co., Ltd., the only enterprise in Guangping County, was successfully selected.
Announcement of the List of the Second Batch of Specialized and Sophisticated Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises In order to further implement the Guiding Opinions of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council on Promoting the Healthy Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, and in accordance with the requirements of the Notice of the Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Carrying Out the Cultivation of the Second Batch of Specialized and Sophisticated Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (Gong Xin Ting Qi Ye Han [2020] No. 159), after preliminary examination and recommendation by provincial-level SME authorities, demonstration of restrictive conditions by industry associations, and expert review, the list of enterprises that have passed the review is now announced. All sectors of society are welcome to participate in the supervision. If there are any objections, please provide feedback to the Small and Medium Enterprise Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, along with supporting materials and contact information for verification.

What are Specialized and Sophisticated Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises?
Specialized and sophisticated small and medium-sized enterprises are the outstanding enterprises among "specialized and sophisticated" SMEs. They are the leading enterprises that focus on niche markets, have strong innovation capabilities, high market share, master key core technologies, and have excellent quality and efficiency.
The MIIT plans to cultivate about 600 specialized and sophisticated small and medium-sized enterprises within three years (2018-2020).
Only the outstanding ones can be selected.
The MIIT has set economic benefits, specialization, innovation capabilities, and management four special indicators.
Taking economic benefits as an example, it requires that the enterprise's annual operating income in the previous year be between 100 million and 400 million yuan, the average growth rate of main business income or net profit in the past two years be above 10%, and the enterprise's asset-liability ratio be no higher than 70%.
At the same time, it must have strong professionalization and R&D innovation capabilities. Specifically, the enterprise must have been engaged in a specific niche market for 3 years or more, its main business income accounts for more than 70% of its operating income, its R&D expenditure as a percentage of operating income in the past two years ranks among the top in the same industry, and the proportion of scientific and technological personnel engaged in R&D and related technological innovation activities accounts for no less than 15% of the total number of employees.

Goldpro New Materials Co., Ltd., established in June 2010, is a high-tech enterprise integrating the research and development, manufacturing, testing, sales, and service of raw materials and products such as wear-resistant steel balls, steel sections, steel bars, and wear-resistant liners.

Next steps will include studying and issuing policy documents to further promote the development of "specialized and sophisticated" SMEs, promoting the establishment of corresponding coordination and promotion mechanisms in various places, and supporting the development and growth of "specialized and sophisticated" SMEs in terms of funds, policies, and environment.
