On April 27, 2021, a mobilization meeting for the 2021 May Day International Labor Day celebration and the "Achieving the 14th Five-Year Plan and Forging Ahead on a New Journey" themed labor and skills competition was held in Beijing. The meeting commended the winners of the 2021 National May Day Labor Awards and National Worker Vanguard. Twenty units in Hebei Province won the National May Day Labor Award, 56 individuals won the National May Day Labor Medal, and 52 collectives were named National Worker Vanguard. Among them, Goldpro New Materials Co., Ltd. won the National May Day Labor Award, the only winning unit in Handan City!
Relevant officials from the Hebei Provincial Federation of Trade Unions introduced that this year, among the 20 units in our province that won the National May Day Labor Award, 3 are non-public enterprises, 1 is a government agency, and 16 are state-owned and state-controlled enterprises. Among the 56 people who won the National May Day Labor Medal, 27 are industrial workers, 12 are other front-line workers and professional and technical personnel, 8 are scientific and educational personnel, and 5 are migrant workers, all meeting the prescribed proportions. Among the 52 collectives that won the National Worker Vanguard Award, there are 36 workshops, sections, teams, and departments from enterprises and institutions.
