  • Product Description
  • Unlike steel balls, the rotating flexibility of grinding cylinders during the grinding process is between spherical and rod-shaped, mainly relying on line contact to crush minerals. When steel rods are used as the grinding medium, the product particle size of each particle size is relatively uniform, and it has a certain selectivity for the grinding of intermediate products, and has a certain protective effect on the minerals. It gives full play to the advantages of rod mills, but the crushing force is not as good as that of spherical ones. Steel ball grinding is through point contact with the material grinding, suitable for fine grinding, good effect, but does not have the protective effect on the material, easy to cause over-grinding, and the yield change of each particle size of steel ball grinding is uneven. Therefore, in order to ensure the fineness of grinding and make the particle size distribution uniform, many mines use a mixed addition method of adding steel balls and steel rods at the same time when adding grinding media to obtain good grinding results.

Currently, steel rods on the market are available in casting, forging, and direct shearing processes. The characteristics of the casting process itself make the product structure not dense enough, and in order to facilitate demolding, they are all conical steel rods. The forging process maintains the density of the raw materials in the organization, but often results in S-shaped steel rods, affecting line contact and hindering comprehensive and efficient grinding. Shearing horseshoe shapes will also affect the running trajectory and grinding contact surface of the steel rods, reducing grinding efficiency.

After long-term dedicated research, Goldpro New Materials Co., Ltd. has integrated the advantages of the above processes and successfully developed a high-efficiency rolling process and complete sets of equipment, making the rolled steel rods capsule-shaped, with the grinding effect of steel balls at both ends, and the rod body has good linear contact effect. The running trajectory is stable during the grinding process, and the comprehensive grinding efficiency is high and the effect is good. In order to further improve the customer's use effect, our company continuously develops special materials and supporting heat treatment processes for steel rods, and has formed a series of steel rod products with various specifications and materials such as 20mmX30mm...70mmX80mm. Various types of steel rods can also be customized according to the mine conditions and customer needs to meet the needs of grinding.
